Hi, I’m JP. I am the passionate skier and dedicated ski instructor behind Ski Legend. I’ve skied for over 18 years and taught for more than 7 years in Switzerland, the UK and even Australia. Ski Legend offers a legendary ski holiday experience to guests. From beginners to experienced off-piste skiers, Ski Legend makes a great skiing experience one to truly remember. I am the Chief Instructor and Resort Manager for New Generation ski school in Verbier. Through New Generation I offer my own personal clients the opportunity to continuously develop their skiing. The challenging resort of Verbier keeps everyone coming back for more. The 4 Valleys ski area offers a huge amount of pisted terrain to explore. Verbier is famous for it’s easily accessed off-piste. This can be enjoyed through gradually gaining the skills and experience required to ski safely off-piste. I will be teaching and coaching in the Snowcentre (www.thesnowcentre.com)in Hemel Hempstead and locations in the Swiss and Austrian Alps, TBC. Qualifications The British Association of Snowsports Instructors (BASI) is an internationally renown organization responsible for developing and assessing ski instructors. The highest level 4 qualification (International Ski Teacher Diploma) is recognized and equivalent to the highest qualification of all the major Alpine countries and demonstrates a high level of technical skiing, teaching theory and commitment to the sport of skiing and profession of ski teaching. My qualifications are extensive and include; · BASI Level 4 ISTD Teacher, ISTD European Mountain Security
· BASI Level 3 ISIA technical, ISIA teaching, ISIA Mountain Safety, Snowboard level 1 instructor, Snowsport Scotland Alpine Performance Coach 1, BASI level 1 coach
· BASI Level 2 Instructor, Snowsport Scotland instructor, Snowsport England Instructor |
